Dream Big

Dream big they say

But what if my dreams don’t go my way?

No dream is too big, but some are too small

Are there rules to it all?

I dream realistic

The kind that are easy to pick.

But that’s not dreaming I think

Because there is no risk that I might actually sink.

A dream should be bigger than you

Something that isn’t easy to do.

A dream that reminds you every day

That you accomplished something somehow, someway.

The best dreams are in God’s hands.

See, He actually knows the best plan.

And when I dream too small I see

How much of my dream depends on me.

Dream big, I now understand why it’s what they say

Because when I dream small, I get in my own way.

When I dream big, I have no other choice but to see

What only God can do through me.
