God’s plans go further than we can ever imagine. We forget that. We forget that God already has a plan for that job. He already has a plan for that relationship. He already has a plan for that trial you face.
When things don’t happen according to my plans, I can’t help but wonder why. When people lash out at me, I can’t help but feel some type of way about it. When I see or hear about others being persecuted and imprisoned, I can’t help but allow my mind to drift from the fact that God does have a plan.
But 1 Peter 2:15 reminds me that all that stuff that happens, all those people who fight against God’s people, all the trials and tribulations brought on by those people and those circumstances are no match for God.
Stay in God’s will, living a good life, and silencing those who come against you. See, God already knew what you’d face when you chose to follow Him. He knew people would be difficult. He knew people would mistreat you. He knew people would turn on you. And because He already knew that, He already knew how to take care of it.
1 Peter 2:15 It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you.
