The million dollar question this week is: What do you do when it’s all wrong? What do you do when your job is all wrong? What do you do when your finances are all wrong? What do you do when things in your life are just all wrong?
You pray. That’s the best thing anyone can do in any situation. Pray to God for strength to go on. When it’s all wrong prayer seems hard to do. Human nature tells us to throw in the towel. It tells us to throw in the towel. It tells us we’re hopeless and so is the situation. But God.
God doesn’t see it that way. Thankfully. God doesn’t see how I see. He doesn’t draw the same conclusions I do. And I’m so glad He doesn’t. That is why I have to pray.
I must pray when it’s all wrong, because only God knows how to get things right. I’m so thankful that God is God and I am not. If I had to do things on my own I would never make it through life. My life would be a mess at best. I guess I’m just trying to encourage you while I encourage me.
When it’s all wrong, we can get through it, because God can make it all right.
Isaiah 55:8-9 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
